Chinese brush painting & calligraphy

Selma Lan started to learn traditional Chinese brush painting and calligraphy from her father who is a writer, journalist and artist, at a young age. She has won several national awards of her calligraphy and brush painting work.

Ever since moving to Austin Texas, she has been actively involved in non-profit and charity organization events to help them raise funds by selling her art work. In 2011 during Austin's annual Dragon Boat Festival, her Chinese brush-painted paper parasols were being sold at the FCC (Families with Children from China) booth. Within an hour, those popular parasols were sold out.

By order, Selma has custom created art work for clients for different occasions, such as birthday gifts, anniversary souvenirs, and anything artistic and creative.
